User Deletion policy

Purpose

This policy outlines how Astrader responds to requests for deletion of personal data in accordance with applicable laws of Pakistan.

It explains:

  • The rights of individuals regarding data deletion

  • Our responsibilities when handling such requests

Individual Rights

Every individual has the right to request deletion of their personal data, often referred to as the “Right to Erasure” or “Right to be Forgotten.”

This right allows individuals to request removal of their personal information where there is no valid or legal reason for Astrader to continue processing it.

When Does the Right to Erasure Apply?

Under applicable Pakistani laws, individuals may request deletion of personal data in the following circumstances:

  • When the data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected

  • When the individual withdraws previously given consent

  • When the individual objects to processing and no overriding legal grounds exist

  • When the data has been processed unlawfully

  • When deletion is required to comply with a legal obligation

What Information Does Astrader Retain?

Astrader may store limited customer data for operational and reporting purposes, including:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Purchased product details

With customer consent, additional information may be stored, such as:

  • Contact number

  • Billing and shipping address

  • Order history

  • Communication records

All stored data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and protected using secure systems.

How Can Data Be Deleted?

Customers may request account deletion by sending an email to:

Upon verification:

  • The user account will be permanently deleted

  • Deleted data cannot be recovered

  • Confirmation of deletion will be sent via email

Please note:

  • Some data may temporarily remain in system backup files

  • Backup data is automatically removed during scheduled system cleanups

  • Certain information may be retained if required by law (e.g., tax or regulatory compliance)

We aim to process deletion requests within 30 calendar days from the date of request. Wherever possible, requests will be completed earlier.

Important Notice

Once personal data is permanently deleted, it cannot be restored.
Users are advised to ensure they truly wish to proceed before submitting a deletion request.
